As I’m sure aware, a key requirement for all adults in Scouting is to ensure they are keeping themselves and any others around them safe. One key step in ensuring this is covered is the update of mandatory ongoing safety and safeguarding training. Everyone is responsible to ensure their training is in date and their records are updated. You can find out the details in Compass. If you are not compliant, we are in the process of reviewing all and will be suspending adults who are not in compliance with this requirement. (Without this training in date, you cannot be involved in any Scouting Activities) The suspensions will be in place until the training is completed and compass records are updated. This suspension can lead to membership being cancelled.

Request: Please review Compass and if the training has not been completed or if due a refresher, please take a short time out and get the training completed and send the completed training certificate to either your training advisor, GSL, DC or Regional Commissioner to get your record in Compass updated.
